The Tokyo Motor Show has been underway all week and we’ve seen several enticing vehicles come from it but we haven’t seen many scooters. Today, Yamaha has taken the time to show us their EC-f concept, pictured above.
This scooter is designed for use by commuters who need an easy way to get from their car to the office. There was no word on availability but we’ll keep you posted as it comes out off of the drawing board and into production.
Fully electric scooters are only just starting to catch on but if Lohia Auto’s predictions are anything to go by the world, India specifically, may be getting taken by storm soon enough.
Below is a quote from Lohia Auto’s CEO Ayush Lohia regarding future scooter sales:
If a recent advertisement found in Scoot! Magazine is anything to go by we may be seeing an all electric Lambretta GP at some point the near future.
As you can see above, the magazine states that an all-electric GP200e is coming soon accompanied by a picture of a vintage Lambretta. Exactly what the 200 in the title means is any one’s guess until Lambretta comes forth and makes an official announcement.
