Asia Pacific Fuel Cell Technologies of Taiwan is offering a special package worth $350,000 for 10 fuel cell scooters. The package includes 10 scooters, 40 hydrogen canisters, a stationary hydrogen recharger and a portable recharger, 10 hours of training and semi-annual maintenance.
All these fuel cell scooters have been test-driven. Scooters were fuelled by metal hydride hydrogen canisters which can be exchanged in under a minute. Each canister can propel scooters around 85km.
The prototypes of Yamaha’s EC-03 were shown last year and now it looks like they are going to invade the Asian regions as well. In fact, they are scheduled to invade Japan this coming Summer to kick off what you can safely call the Asian Invasion.
After being criticized in 2002 for the SPARC, SRAM is reportedly set to unveil a new electric bike system this 2011. This will be showcased at the 2010 Taipei International Cycle Show in Taiwan.
The SPARC was hit for being underpowered despite its sophisticated and light frame and for sure these remarks have been addressed. That is, if they will indeed come out with a new electric bike system.
Scooters are made for all sexes and apparently there is one that girls are sure to adore. The new scooter is the Kymco Like 125, a new scooter built for girls with its smart retro styling and sophisticated Italian design.
