With all the talk about being eco-friendly, the Emcycle should be a conventional bike with a body. The Emcycle comes designed with a roof and Velcro-attached side panels. It comes with an electric front wheel drive which can assist riders up to 1000 watts. It can travel as far as 40 MPH and makes use of regenerative braking.

The Emcycle will carry a price tag between $2,500 to $4,500. If plans push through, we may see the Emcycle out by 2011 before the London Olympics start. Check out the video:

Now here’s an amazing feat — It seems that a man by the name of Nathan Millward has successfully ridden his 105cc moped named Dorothy from Sydney, Australia all the way to London, England.

The journey lasted 8 months and took him through 18 countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, India and Pakistan and at one point Millward even found himself traveling through the Himilayas.
