John Gerber, Scooter Historian, Passes Away

While scooters have becoming increasingly popular over the years, one man can arguably be held accountable for it success; John Gerber. A American scooter historian, John Gerber is the author of American Scooterist and a leading figure in the Vespa Club of America.

Well, I bring you the sad news that John Gerber has today passed away. Unfortunately, we have no details over his death but we here at ScooteringUSA extend our deepest sympathies to all of Mr. Gerber’s loved ones.

May his scooter legacy live on for many years to come.

70 year old pushes scooter for 3200km

On the first of this month we told you about a man who rode a moped from Australia to England and now we have a man, who happens to be 70 years old, that managed to ride a push scooter for 3200km.

The man in question is Vlastik Skvaril who embarked on the voyage to raise money for CanTeen and Camp Quality, two childrens cancer charities.
