Interview: Britain’s newest electric motorcycle, the Agility Saietta

Agility Saietta is the latest electric motorcycle of Britain. Promising an exhilarating ride, this bike features an eye popping fairing design and a hossack inspired front end. Recently, its designer, Lawrence Marazzi unveiled this beautiful bike. This bike doesn’t have the complicated combustion engines like other bikes and it is full of unique properties.

Honda makes 18 million bikes in 2010


Honda has revealed that they’re still the largest motorcycle and scooter maker in the world, making over 18 million bikes in 2010. Honda’s biggest market remains Asia, where 14 of the 18 million bikes found home. In the US, Honda saw just a fraction of the sales: only 200,000 of Honda’s 18 million bikes were sold in the US in 2010.

Police Department start using electric motorcycles


California is know for being one of the greenest states in the US, and it also houses most of the green tech industry in the US. So it’s of no surprise that the Scotts Valley Police Department have now outfitted some of their motorcycle units with electric bikes from Zero Motorcycles. The bikes are zero emission and have a range of 50 miles.

Electric Uno Scooter


The new Electric UNO scooter is a scooter which folds away and becomes almost a unicycle, or rather, something like a Segway. Made by BPG Motors, it is currently on display at CES in Las Vegas. The new scooter will debut later this year, and will be priced around $4,000 to $7,000 USD.

Honda to lease the new EV-neo electric scooter


We previously reported on Honda’s new all-electric scooter, the EV-neo, which delivered promising mileage and performance. However, the price was a tad steep, at $6000 per scooter, and now Honda has announced that they’ll be leasing the new EV-neo for new customers for an “affordable price”. The EV-neo will be able to do 34 km on a single charge, or about 21 miles.
