Honda makes 18 million bikes in 2010


Honda has revealed that they’re still the largest motorcycle and scooter maker in the world, making over 18 million bikes in 2010. Honda’s biggest market remains Asia, where 14 of the 18 million bikes found home. In the US, Honda saw just a fraction of the sales: only 200,000 of Honda’s 18 million bikes were sold in the US in 2010.

Honda plans to tripple sales in India in 5 years


Japanese car and motorcycle maker Honda has announced plans of expanding in India to the tune to tripping motorcycle and scooter sales by 2015. In 2010, they sold 1,40,642 motorcycles and scooters. Honda will invest 18 billion yen in India over the next 5 years, or just over $1.5 billion USD.

2011 Can-Am Spyder RT


The Can-Am Spyder has sold well for a three-wheeled scooter (or motorcycle, if you wish), and Can-AM has now updated it with the 2011 Can-Am Spyder RT. The new version offers more power with a 100 hp and 80 lb-ft. of torque from the same engine, while it also includes a navigation system. The three wheeler will go on sale early next year, at $28,099.
