It looks like Peugeot has big plans come 2011. And the focus just like most scooter companies is a return to the electric scooter market. For their part, Peugeot is pinning its hopes on the E-Vivacity scooter which thrives on lithium-ion battery. Power is taken from the rear wheel via an enclosed belt drive and can recharge through regenerative braking. The new scooter model will also feature reverse mode at lower speeds. The E-Vivacity can get a top speed of 45km/h and will be backed by 5.4 HP. No word on pricing yet.
