There are some perks you can get from serving your country and now it seems that soldiers who risked their life and ended up being disabled and lacking in mobility. Such is the case for people like Naik Ram Dass during the Indo-Pak war. Apparently Dass’ leg got affected by a mine blast, rendering him handicapped until recently. Dass was among the 55 disabled soldiers that were given a modified scooter at the Bombay Engineering Group.

These modified vehicles should change the lives of the once immobile soldiers like Dass who served the country. Each scooter was said to be worth around Rs 53,000.
