The Dallas Police Department gets a big boost as they will be getting new Xtreme Sentinel Police Mobility Vehicles to shore up their patrol routes along the Dallas Business District. This new eco-friendly vehicle will be replacing the old bicycle and foot patrolling made before in the neighborhood.

The Sentinel can travel at speeds up to 29 miles per hour and offers a range of 80 miles per charge at a cost of about 1 cent per mile. The transition is sure to be a welcome development to the security of the Dallas neighborhood which can now be monitored better and raising the level of interaction between the police and the community.
