When it comes to turning to artificial means (or electric/mechanical) assistance as far as mobility is concerned, not many would entertain the thought unless they are in the prime of their lives. There are instances when sudden disabilities occur but aside from that, people may not even consider it.
Why is that? For one, the cost of getting one is not cheap. Even if there was, you can be assured that it will not provide the qualitative support in terms of comfort and convenience as you would expect. Hence, perhaps the best time to get artificial mobility scooters would be best left at extreme cases. Walk or move until you can and leave it as the final option.
Aside from cost, it is a form of luxury that you can really make do without unless you can afford and really need it. It is a keen alternative but not feasible for the budget-conscious consumers.
