Bike with Straight-Edged Wheels

A bicycle that has straight-edged wheels doesn’t sound a very smart idea to most but, Guan Baihua from China has hopes for his patented invention. His vision is to try and wow the crowd who are tired of “identical mass-manufactured things” with the bicycle that stands out from the crowd.

Well, it certainly stands out, so I think he is at least successful there! He points out is that his wheel design will make cycling a better exercise, because greater effort is required to pedal this thing. Apparently, some journalist claim it is not as bumpy as it looks.
