With news that Vespa is all set to make a return to India, a new Vespa scooter made for women will reportedly come soon. Christened as the Indian Vespa, this new offering will be manufactured at its Baramati plant and will be commercially available in the Indian market by 2012.
The new Vespa scooter will boast of a 125cc single cylinder 4-stroke scooter with electronic injection. It will have a fuel tank capacity of 8.5L and will have automatic transmission. It will retail for about Rs. 32,000 or ($800).
